The Team

Back in 2003 Martine van Huizum, Marjoleine de Lange, Hein ter Linden and Jacques van der Meulen were residents plastic surgery. The courses available at that time in the Netherlands were meant for the more experienced plastic surgeons, but more inclusive courses for beginning plastic surgeons were lacking. They took matters in their own hands and started the dr Tulp Foundation with the intention to provide residents, fellows and young plastic surgeons with the opportunity to learn the state of the art procedures from the best teachers in the world, under the best possible circumstances. The goal was ánd is to give low volume – high exposure teaching on fresh cadavers only, in an open atmosphere, where direct contact between students and faculty is stimulated. In the past 20 years the courses have evolved into internationally known, highly educational, practical and lively programmes.
